Nestwell HomeYouTube Reviews

About This Campaign
Nestwell Home makes smart home devices: plugs, sensors and a hub that ties them together. Its buyers research carefully before they spend, and most of that research happens on YouTube, where Nestwell had almost no presence.
The brand asked us to find reviewers who could show the devices in real homes and give buyers the detailed, independent opinions they look for.
Challenge
Buyers took weeks to decide, comparing Nestwell with better-known brands. Search ads brought visitors, but at a high cost, and many left to look for reviews elsewhere.
There were very few independent reviews of Nestwell’s devices online. The brand needed credible voices to test the products properly, including saying where they fell short.

Strategy
Long-form reviews from creators viewers trust
We chose three tech reviewers whose audiences come to them for buying advice, and who had published critical reviews as well as positive ones. Each received the devices six weeks before their video was due.
Nestwell checked facts and disclosures but did not see or approve the verdicts. The reviewers set up, used and compared the devices in their own homes, and said what they liked and what they did not.

How We Brought the
Campaign to Life
Reviewer Selection
We looked for reviewers with steady views on older videos, engaged comment sections and a record of honest criticism.
Hands-On Testing
Each reviewer lived with the devices for six weeks. Nestwell's team answered technical questions within a day.
Publishing the Reviews
The three reviews went live over two weeks, each with chapters, the product names in the title and a tracked link in the description.
Measuring Over Time
We tracked clicks and sales for three months, as most viewers found the reviews through search long after they were published.
Campaign Impact
Summary
Over three months the reviews earned 860,000 views and 41,000 engagements. Tracked links recorded 1,250 orders and $187,000 in revenue, 190% more orders than in the previous quarter.
Nestwell's own channel gained 6,300 subscribers, and the reviews sent 14,200 visitors to its store. On a total spend of $36,000, the campaign returned 5.2 times what it cost.
